Eddy Barraza and
Yolanda Graham were picked to be the Band King & Queen at the Band
Banquet in 1979. Ed says he remembers being very embarrassed about
it all, but doesn't remember much else. Guess those synaptic pathways

Melinda Flores (left)
and Yolanda Graham, clarinet players and twirlers, sit with the band for
the last time during Grad ceremonies in '79. Melinda says she wanted to
always be together with these good friends, and wished she could freeze
that moment in time forever. Gee, kinda sounds like the ending of "Grease,"
